Description

Schermer is hiring an Office Coordinator! This person will keep our marketing agency running like a top by supporting and meeting the needs of our leadership, staff and guests. This is a part-time, in-person position, approximately 20-25 hours per week in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays in Minneapolis.

The job:

  • Be a friendly and gracious host to all constituents – clients, guests, vendors, employees – in person, in email, chat or on the phone.
  • Supply staff, guests and the office with necessary resources (office supplies, meals, beverages & snacks)
  • Keep shared spaces in the office in great shape: remove clutter, run the dishwasher, put away office supplies & groceries when delivered, arrange for repairs as needed.
  • Monitor the general email account and forward or respond appropriately.
  • Manage systems to support office operations, such as basic IT and equipment assistance
  • Assist with logistics of new employee on-boarding by organizing information, ensuring the necessary resources are in place (hardware, software, logins, passwords, etc.), and scheduling on-boarding meetings as requested to ensure a welcoming and smooth process.
  • Assist with data entry of vendor invoices into Workamajig
  • Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks as requested by leadership.

The person:

  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), familiar with Adobe Acrobat, bonus points if you have experience with Workamajig software
  • Organized and detailed in your approach
  • Able to establish and maintain a positive, professional atmosphere
  • Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
