We are a 7x Association of National Advertisers Small B2B Agency of the Year Finalist, including in 2025, and recently won The Stevie American Business Awards 2025 Agency of the Year. Clients include SAP, Pearson, Best Buy Ads, Red Wing Shoes, Solventum and more. We are looking for an Agency Marketing Manager, responsible for developing, executing, and overseeing SCHERMER’s marketing efforts and programs to strengthen our brand, drive engagement, build reputation and support business development. This individual will manage the full marketing lifecycle, from defining communications strategy with agency leadership, to content creation and amplification, to marketing execution and performance analysis. Helping us find, pitch and secure speaking events and publishing opportunities will be important. The role requires a strong writer and strategic thinker who can identify opportunities, craft compelling messaging and content, tell our stories and ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints. A background in content marketing, marketing communications management and/or public relations experience is highly desirable to effectively elevate the agency's profile and amplify our national visibility.

- Marketing Expertise: Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and channels (digital, content marketing, social media, email, etc.).
- Writing & Communication: Excellent writing and editing skills, with experience creating compelling content for diverse audiences.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute effective marketing plans that align with business objectives.
- Public Relations: Proven ability in media relations, event management, securing speaking engagements, and successfully positioning executives as thought leaders in relevant industry circles.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work within budget constraints.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in tracking campaign performance, analyzing data, and drawing insights to improve marketing effectiveness.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Strong ability to work cross-functionally with agency leaders, designers, content creators, and external partners.
- Proficiency in Marketing Tools: Experience with CRM, email marketing platforms, analytics tools, and social media management systems is a plus. MS PowerPoint mandatory. WordPress editing experience desired. Individual will be responsible for utilizing AI tools for content creation.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 5-10 years of experience in B2B marketing and/or in a marketing/PR/business development role within an agency or B2B services company. Must have a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing / PR / Business Development strategies, programs, and results.
